It’s only natural to feel the animal inside of you
A rage, like indignation, which tears your soul apart

Crying for the mother and the father you lost so long ago
Such sadness, blue devils on the rise, no opium could deprive
It’s just the nature of the beast, to feel the heat inside
To let the bullets pound against the skull and flay your mind alive
And when it’s your time to die, Oh when it’s time, the hands strike midnight
At the crossroads of the night, he’s calling your name
With the trigger in his hand, the blood from you pours out
There’s no writing on the wall, but this is the nature of the beast
And the beast always pounces first.
